A MAINE CHRISTMAS CAROL is a spiritual journey.  In place of old Scrooge is 16 year old Thomas.  Having lost his father in Iraq, Thomas, nicknamed TJ, has taken the path of drugs to deal with his loss.  But Thomas' father hopes to turn his son around and lead him back to his family and the true meaning of Christmas.  Not sure how to cope with the loss of her husband and the growing alienation from her son, Thomas' mother, Lisa emerses herself in her work-further removing herself from his affections.  Will the three Spirits be able to turn Thomas' life around this Christmas Eve?  As events unfold in historic Hallowell, Maine during a raging Nor'easter, the forces of truth gather to show Thomas that we are all truly responsible for our actions.
